La Revue Virtuelle (1992-1996), a virtual "magazine" jointly created by the Musée national d'art moderne and the Centre de création industrielle, addressed the new technologies from the multiple viewpoints of science, aesthetics, museography, and education. The twelve thematic issues of the Revue Virtuelle thus gave rise to public lectures, publications, and exhibitions. These activities were in turn documented in a bilingual CD-ROM, L'Actualité du Virtuel/Actualizing the Virtual, published in 1996.
